31 Jul JUNIOR SUMMER SEASON 2025-26 – GRADING

The Ginninderra Rats have been hooping since 1977 and we are getting ready to make more #ratsmischief this summer!!

Rats offers participation opportunities for anyone that wants to get on court. We had almost 80 junior teams in the winter 2025 season, across all age groups and divisions for boys and girls.  This ensures a basketball experience that is most appropriate for each junior player’s development, their experience and opportunities for enjoyment of the game.

The JUNIOR SUMMER SEASON 2025/26 is rapidly approaching.  JUNIOR SUMMER GRADING SESSIONS (Divisions 1-6) for players in Under 12s through to Under 19s will be held on the weekend of 23 and 24 August at Belconnen High School in Hawker.

Saturday 23 August

8.30am – 10am        U19 Boys (born 2008, 2009 and 2010)
10.30am – 12pm      U19 Girls (born 2008, 2009 and 2010)
12.30pm – 2pm        U14 Boys (born 2013 and 2014)     
2.30pm – 4pm          U14 Girls (born 2013 and 2014)

Sunday 24 August

8.30am – 10am        U16 Boys (born 2011 and 2012)
10.30am – 12pm      U16 Girls (born 2011 and 2012)
12.30pm – 2pm        U12 Boys (born 2015 and 2016)
2.30pm – 4pm          U12 Girls  (born 2015 and 2016)

Register for junior competition divisions 1-6 team grading

Register early – links close at 7:30pm Friday, August 22 for Junior Summer Season (Div 1-6) Grading.If a player is not registered, it will delay check-in for their session.
