Being an Under 10 Rat is lots of fun! Under 10 basketball is a great introduction to playing Hoops, with structured training and games where the emphasis is on skill development, understanding of the game and having lots of fun!! We like to call it Rats Mischief!! .
The Summer Season will commence on 19 October and will consist of 12 rounds across Term 4 2025 and Term 1 2026.
Under 10 basketball is graded – this helps us position each player in a team and in a division that is suited to their size, experience and development. Following the Come N’ Try, the grading session for Under 10 BOYS teams will be held on Wednesday 27 September at Belconnen High School from 5-6pm, while for GIRLS it will be on Thursday 28 September from 5-6pm. Grading will be a short, fun session with some basic skill activities and small-side games. Please bring a drink bottle and size 5 basketball.
